Clinical Assistant

I joined Thabet Orthodontics in the spring of 2020 and bring 15 plus years of experience to this great team. I am a Certified Dental Radiation Technologist, Certified Dental, and Orthodontic Assistant in the State of Maryland. My favorite part of this role is having the opportunity to work with children and watching how their beautiful smiles transform. I take pride in my care for patients. From their first visit to the last, my patient care assures that they have a positive experience. Dentistry is my passion and I enjoy how each experience is unique with every patient.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my son, taking him to his soccer games and practices, cooking, hosting family meals, traveling, running, and walking. I have a big family and we mostly spend weekends together – we love new adventures, and we especially enjoy creating new memories together.

I am thankful for the opportunity to bring my experience and energy to this team. Cheers to this new chapter with my dental family!

Dr Othman is a knowledgeable doctor and knows exactly what she is talking about when it comes to ortho. Dr Othman is professional and cares deeply when it comes to her patients. Dr Othman has always given me the best professional advice. I’m proud to call Dr Othman my Ortho and would recommend her to anyone. When my son is old enough- I will know where he needs to go! Dr. Othman and her team are truly great. Everyone I have encountered has been amazing to work with. The staff goes above and beyond and are always very friendly and professional. Dr. Othman is very attentive and always makes sure that my questions are answered. Great experience all around!

Update on 11/22/23We're now about halfway through treatment and just met Dr. Othman as she transitions into the office. Can't say enough good things about the staff, especially Michelle, who goes out of her way to ensure clear communication.Still a five star review!2017We are just watching and waiting on a situation right now, but know that eventually there will be some corrections to make. It is helpful that in the meantime, my 8 year old can develop a comfortable relationship with Dr. Thabet and his staff. This will be a great help when the time comes to begin work. Thank you!

I can’t say enough about what a wonderful experience I had with Thabet Orthodontics! Sam was AMAZING! She was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. She made me feel completely at ease. Michelle greeted me and walked me through every step of the visit. Dr. Othman was beyond friendly and I felt confident in her skills.It is because of the staff here that I felt completely at ease with the orthodontic process and I know I am in good hands!

Great start for my daughter with her journey on Invisalign. Scheduling was smooth, staff’s interaction was great including upcoming appointments and payment processes, Dr. Othman is sincere with detail explaining of the journey.

I have had a wonderful experience here. They have amazing customer service and are always willing to help. They are super informative when talking to you about the process and billing and make sure to answer all your questions. Michelle and Sam are amazing managers and will answer any questions/concerns. Best orthodontist I’ve been to!

Our daughter has been with Thabet for about 8 years, and we’ve had a great experience. Her teeth are looking great, and we’ve enjoyed working with the office - professional, pleasant, & provides clear guidance.

Our daughter has been under the care of Dr. Thabet, and his amazing team for the past 7 years. They completely transformed our daughter’s smile in two very meticulously planned stages. She started when she was in 1st grade, and today, in 7th grade, she officially completed her treatment. The office staff has always been amazing, and both Michelle (treatment coordinator) and Brittani (financial info) worked with us to ensure we understood the options, plans and helped us budget so we could gift our daughter with a smile that will confidently carry her throughout her life. As far as first impressions are concerned this is by far one of the best offices I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. The front desk staff welcomed me with warm spirits and smiles. One of my favorite things was the cleanliness of the office as well. The all around atmosphere of this establishment is amazing and I will most definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.

I remember the first time I walked into Dr. Thabet’s practice. The office was welcoming with seasonal decorations, but the team was even more welcoming. Everyone was full of smiles and took time to get to know me. Now when I walk in, they ask about work, my kids, etc., and it shows that they not only listen, but care. Then, there’s Dr. Thabet himself. I started braces as a journey to prepare for double jaw surgery. Dr. Thabet explained the orthodontic role and helped ease my concerns every visit. When my surgeon was no longer able to perform my surgery, Dr. Thabet called me personally to encourage me and to assure me I was still in good hands. After my surgery, I received a card signed by all of the Thabet team, along with beautiful flowers…again, they showed extreme care! They have all been incredible throughout my journey and it would not have been nearly as easy without them. I highly, highly, highly recommend Thabet Orthodontics! You will not be disappointed!

I had a lovely experience at Thabet. Sam went above and beyond during the consultation. She called and made appointments for me for me to get all the necessary items taken care of before I receive my Invisalign. I had a small window before travel and she made sure everything would get done in time so I could travel with my retainers. Dr. Thabet is very kind and knowledgeable. He pays attention to small and important details in planning out how to make necessary changes to accommodate future treatment with dental implants and the sorts. The office is clean and there is a super friendly atmosphere. Hadiya works at the front desk, she is so wonderful and works with your schedule to make appointments and makes sure you have all the necessary paperwork done prior to appointments. So happy with my experience!

Thabet Orthodontics = amazing.Backstory— I had braces as a young teen with a different orthodontist and unfortunately did not wear my retainers. So, my teeth shifted again. I always said that I would get Invisalign to correct the shifted teeth.Currently— I found Dr. Thabet on the Invisalign website as a Diamond Plus provider and said I would check them out as they were conveniently located 15 minutes from my home. I scheduled a FREE exam/consultation to better understand the Invisalign process.The moment I walked into through the office doors, the atmosphere was so warming. Then I met Michelle and Sam— literally THE BEST set of people I have met yet in a dental/orthodontic office. These ladies made sure to explain the process step by step and answer any questions I had before/after my conversation with Dr. Thabet. Records technician, Adeola (Ade), was also great and swift with all my x-rays and scans.I normally do not take time to make reviews, but will for those that go above and beyond to make the experience as smoothly and friendly as possible! Thank you Thabet Orthodontist for this new smile journey 🙂!
